History Angels are passionate about both Genealogy and Family History. We have over 30 years research experience (starting long before the internet!), and use a wide variety of archives, techniques and resources to uncover your ancestry.
We can work on a Bespoke basis to match your budget and expectations, or offer a variety of family tree packages available depending on how many 'branches' of your family tree you would like us to explore. Each is researched to the highest standard & provides the most comprehensive family history available, researched by a dedicated & experienced APG Registered Genealogist.
As Genealogists we refer to four main 'lines' or 'branches' of your family tree - these are the surnames of your four grandparents.

Family Tree Packages
Our Family Tree Packages follow the lines of your family history as far back as possible using the records available to us.
All projects created from our Family Tree Packages are researched in great detail, personally written, hand-finished & beautifully presented in a personalised hardback book, with an accompanying family tree scroll, containing details of dozens, even hundreds of members of your wider family.
We research your genealogy as far back in time as possible, depending on the available records, and use this information, combined with your family photographs, memories and stories to write a book to record your family history.
Each Family History Project includes......
- A variety of Genealogical & Family History Charts and Reports.
- Your family's Surname History.
- Census returns from 1841-1921.
- A search of the 1939 Register - ?
- Birth, Marriage or Death Certificates (BMD, numbers subject to individual packages).
- Church Records of baptism, marriage and burial, from 1538 - date (where surviving). Military service history & occupational records.
- Old maps, photographs and postcards showing where and how your ancestors lived.
- Results of searches in Newspapers, Electoral Registers, Trade Directories, Apprenticeship Records, Wills & Probate, Migration & Criminal Registers.
- Copies of results of our findings, to allow you to share your family history with relatives.
- Recommendations for further research.
- Prices include postage within the UK. Delivery is typically 12-16 weeks, sooner by negotiation.
