Founded by Professional Genealogist Sally Williams, History Angels offers bespoke genealogical and family tree research services to individuals and large organisations alike.
At History Angels, our passion is researching and writing Family History. We combine our skills of genealogy, with research of social, economic and local history, to find out how and where your ancestors used to live.
We provide detailed genealogical research, and write about the lives and experiences of your ancestors.
We include your family photos, personal stories and memories, to create a detailed family history book & family tree scroll - a memento to be treasured for many years to come.
Sally became a Genealogist at a young age after the death of her Great Aunt Dulcie, a Classics Teacher from South Wales, who taught children from poor mining towns and the valleys. Dulcie was keeper of the family bible and certificates, and after her death Sally took on the task of researching the family. It is Dulcie's picture which is used for the History Angels logo.
Sally developed a life-long passion for family history which has seen her work throughout the UK and abroad. Her own family tree includes ancestors from throughout the UK, including London, Lancashire and Yorkshire. Her Westcountry ancestors lived in Devon, Somerset, & Gloucestershire, and her Welsh ancestors are from Glamorgan, Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire, Monmouthshire & Montgomeryshire.
