Any information we obtain will only be used for research, record keeping and accounting purposes by History Angels. No information will be shared with third parties or passed on to any other parties, unless this is at your request (e.g. sending a research report to a relative on your behalf). Information will be retained until such a time as you request information is removed from our records.
Data Protection Act 2003 - We are very aware that the information we hold about you is sensitive. We are registered as Data Controllers under the Data Protection Act 2003. Any information we have is stored in as secure a manner as possible, including password-protected files.
You have the right to request a copy of the personal information that we hold about you and to have any inaccuracies corrected. Please address any such request via the contact details on our web site.
For PayPal payments, your email address will be used by us and Pay Pal to initiate a payment request. All such Pay Pal transactions take place in a secure web site environment and are governed by strict terms and conditions. We have no access to your card or bank details and you are covered by Paypal’s Buyer’s Protection Guarantee.
We do not engage in bulk email or newsletter type marketing activities. All emails received from us will be in direct relation to your enquiry or research currently being undertaken.
